KRAFTTRANS organized the transportation of a JMS 320 cogeneration unit from Hungary to Kazakhstan. For delivery, the unit was dismantled and loaded onto three vehicles: one carrying the oversized part of the cargo and two transporting the remaining components.
The main difficulties arose during the preparation stage. Negotiations between the client and the consignor regarding export formalities and the required documents took longer than expected. During this time, transportation rates and market conditions changed.
Initially, the vehicles were expected to be loaded at different times and consolidated only at the customs office of destination. However, the consignor later required all three vehicles to be loaded on the same day.
This created an additional challenge, as the oversized vehicle had to follow the route and restrictions specified in the permit and could travel only in suitable weather conditions, while the curtain-side trucks moved under standard road conditions.
KRAFTTRANS specialists promptly revised the transportation plan, offered the client favorable terms under the updated market conditions, and arranged temporary storage for the parts of the cargo that arrived earlier.
As a result, the complete shipment was delivered safely and within the agreed timeframe. The client was satisfied with the service and entrusted KRAFTTRANS with a new project.
